Using a node graph is confusing for music producers who have not used patch panels, or other
related tech. Even people who have used patch panels before do not necessarily understand
how we’re representing that in software. The proposed fix is having a good default configuration,
we can show the user when they load up the plugin for the first time, what an example of
something that works looks like. This will not be 100% of the work needed to make it clearer
what’s going on, but it will do a lot of heavy lifting. This is something I already have implemented
in a separate branch, specifically for default patches, but it can be reworked to do this pretty
quickly, so 30 minutes is appropriate.
